DIY Scented Pine-cones

Have you ever walked passed those cinnamon pine-cones in the store and kind of like them? For like 30 seconds. Then the smell gets too overpowering?  These are so easy to make. The smell is strong, but not overpowering! Dry out some pine-cones from your yard, or your neighbors (with permission of course). In the oven on low heat, or in the sun for a couple days.  My neighbor was generous enough to collect them for me, and even dry them. Then we used all of my ingredients.  We put the dried pine-cones in a zip-loc bag. Then we added all the things we thought would smell awesome. We used dried cinnamon, vanilla extract. Then we added the essential oils, we used about 5 drops of each oil and dropped it right on the pine-cones, not letting it get on the zip-loc bags. The oils I used were Cinnamon Bark, Cedarwood, Orange, Clove, Nutmeg, Ginger.  I left them sealed in the bag for 4 weeks. Be patient!! They are worth the wait. Then set them out and enjoy.
